The vulnerable track—which features an assist from fellow R&B crooner Lucky Daye—finds Taylor coming to terms with the end of a relationship and reflecting on the unreciprocated effort over time. “Do you want this or do you don’t?/Oh, I see a difference in the way you movin’/Provin’ you don’t give a fuck ’bout losin’,” she sings on the opening verse.
