Some music streaming services offer several more pocket-friendly options, and Apple Music has one for students. Being a student can be a long, financially tough struggle - and because of that, getting access to services at a discounted rate can make the whole process a little less difficult.

What is the Apple Music Student Discount?

The Apple Music student discount is for anyone who is in full-time education. They still get access to the full Apple Music catalog but get a significant discount on the standard subscription price.

What does the Apple Music Student Discount include?

The $5.99 per month Apple Music student subscription includes the following:

  • Access to Apple Music’s massive music library - the same access you get with an Individual full-priced plan
  • Limited time access to Apple TV+
  • Discounted price for 48 months or until you complete your degree - whichever is sooner.

How do you access Apple TV+ as a student?

The fine print states that Apple TV+ isn’t available for all regions and countries, so it is best to check the latest list for what is available in your country or region: Apple Media Availability.

It is super simple for those who already know they should be able to access Apple TV+. Once you set up your Apple Music student subscription, you log in to the Apple TV+ app or go to the website, and all the content will be there, ready for you. Keep in mind that access to Apple TV+ is only for a limited time, so make the most of it while it is available to you.
