Massive Attack's collaborators highlight hidden dimensions in their moody downbeat. Mad Professor's album-length dub of their 1994 album Protection plays up dank echoes and psychedelic energies; Larry Heard's slinky rework of “Any Love” brings out a seldom-heard house groove. Brooding guest vocalists like Ghostpoet and Young Fathers make the most of the band's eerily atmospheric backdrops.
