Which emails FreeYourMusic sends, and how to stop them

On this page5 sections ▾

FreeYourMusic sends a few emails: your passcode, secure links you ask for, sync reminders and occasional offers. They come from "Bartosz from FreeYourMusic". You can stop the reminders and offers at any time.

Emails you need

These emails come because of something you did. They do not have an unsubscribe link, because they hold the keys to your account.

Reminders and offers

  • Your extra free songs. After a free email sign-up, you get one email with a passcode that unlocks your extra songs, and a welcome offer.
  • Songs waiting to sync. If you set up playlists to sync but your plan does not include auto-sync, you can get a weekly email when those playlists changed. It tells you how many songs are waiting. Nothing on your playlists changes until you sync. This email goes only to people who did not say no to emails from us.
  • Offers. From time to time we send an offer for Premium, for example to free users or when a Premium subscription has ended.

How do I stop these emails?

Every sync reminder and every offer has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and your mail app can show its own unsubscribe button for it. One unsubscribe stops all of them: the offers, the sync reminders and our news to that address.

Unsubscribe from FreeYourMusic emails

  1. Open the email you want to stop.
  2. Click "Unsubscribe from these emails" at the bottom. A page opens: "Unsubscribe from FreeYourMusic emails".
  3. Click "Unsubscribe". The page confirms: "You are unsubscribed."

The unsubscribe button of your mail app does the same in one click, with no page to confirm.

The link does not work, or the email has no link? Write to support@freeyourmusic.com from the address you want to remove and ask us to stop the emails.

Receipts and invoices

FreeYourMusic does not send receipts. The store or the payment provider that took your payment sends them: Apple for the App Store, Google for Google Play, and our payment provider for purchases on our website. Look for their emails, or open the subscription link above to see your invoices.
