FreeYourMusic can move playlists to and from YouTube, including your "Liked videos" and "Liked music". You sign in with Google, and FreeYourMusic never sees your password.
What do I need?
A Google account with YouTube. On Android, your phone also needs Google Play Services, because the app uses Google's own sign-in.
How do I connect YouTube?
Connect YouTube to FreeYourMusic
- Open FreeYourMusic and pick YouTube as the service you move from or to.
- Google sign-in opens. Choose your Google account and sign in.
- Allow FreeYourMusic to manage your YouTube account. You are back in the app with YouTube connected.
By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can take FreeYourMusic's access away at any time on the Google security settings page.

YouTube works with playlists only. Your "Liked videos" and "Liked music" show up in the list too, so you can pick them as a source.
How does matching work on YouTube?
YouTube videos have no song codes and often put the artist and the song in one title, such as "Artist - Song (Official Video)". FreeYourMusic compares that title with the song name and artist, in both orders. Covers, live versions and fan uploads can match, so check the result. How matching works.
Known issues
- Large transfers can stop with errors. YouTube limits how much every app can use it each day. When that daily limit is used up, YouTube refuses requests until it resets. Retry the transfer later.
- "Your phone does not have Google Play Services installed." Google sign-in on Android needs Google Play Services. Use a phone that has them, or use FreeYourMusic on your computer.
