One Premium licence works on all your own devices. Your transfer history is a different matter: a list of transfers saved on one device is not copied to your other devices.
Use Premium on another device
Install FreeYourMusic on the new phone or computer, then unlock Premium in one of two ways:
- With your passcode. Tap "I already have an account", enter your email and the passcode, and tap "Activate license". The passcode is in the email you got after payment.
- With "Restore purchase". If you bought Premium in the App Store or Google Play, sign in to the device with the same Apple Account or Google account and tap "Restore purchase".
Lost the passcode? Your passcode: activate, restore and use Premium on another device shows how to get it again.
Why are my transfers not on my other device?
FreeYourMusic does not copy a transfer history saved on one device to your other devices. If you made a transfer on your phone, your computer may not list it.
Your music is safe either way. The playlists and songs FreeYourMusic added live on your music service, so you see them on every device where you use that service.
Moving to a new phone or computer
Switch FreeYourMusic to a new device
- Install FreeYourMusic on the new device.
- Unlock Premium with your passcode or with "Restore purchase".
- Check the Profile tab, under "Connected accounts", and connect any music account the app does not list.
- Keep the old device until you no longer need its transfer list. Resetting or uninstalling the app there deletes the history saved on it.
Frequently asked questions
On how many devices can I use Premium?
One licence works on all your own devices: your phones, tablets and computers.
Does FreeYourMusic sync my transfers between devices?
A transfer list saved on one device is not copied to your other devices, so they may not show it. The music itself is on your music service, so you see it everywhere.
I got a new phone. Is my transfer history gone?
The history saved on your old phone stays on that phone. Your playlists are safe on your music service, and Premium comes back on the new phone with your passcode or "Restore purchase".
