Limits
- Tidal does not let apps remove songs from a playlist. If you keep a playlist in sync and a song leaves the original, it stays in the Tidal copy. The app offers "Download list of songs" so you can remove those songs by hand.
- Tidal does not let apps change the order of songs in a playlist. If the order changes in the original, the Tidal copy keeps its old order.
- Tidal does not let apps look songs up by ISRC, the code that identifies a recording. FreeYourMusic matches by title, artist and album instead. How matching works.

Frequently asked questions
Why are songs I removed still in my Tidal playlist?
Tidal does not let apps remove songs from playlists. Use "Download list of songs" in the app to get the list, then remove them in Tidal.
Why is the song order different in Tidal?
Tidal does not let apps reorder songs in a playlist, so a synced playlist keeps the order it had when the songs were added.
Can I move albums and artists to Tidal?
Yes, with Premium. Tidal supports album and artist transfers.
