FreeYourMusic is free for your first 300 songs, or 600 songs in total after a free email sign-up. Premium removes the song limit and adds auto-sync, album transfers and artist transfers. You can pay every quarter, every year, or once for life.
What is included for free?
- Up to 300 songs, or 600 songs in total after you sign up with your email. No card is needed.
- Playlists and liked songs, on every supported service.
- Rematch. You can fix a wrong match and pick another song at no cost.
- The command-line tool (CLI) for reading your playlists, library and history, with 100 searches a day.
The free allowance is for life. Songs from transfers you delete still count. What counts as a song.
What does Premium add?
- No song limit. Move your whole library.
- Auto-sync. Keep a playlist up to date on the new service as it changes. How auto-sync works.
- Album transfers and artist transfers.
- Full CLI access: create and edit playlists, manage your library, move music between services, and search without a daily cap. About the CLI.
- Priority support with the Yearly and Lifetime plans: we answer their emails first.
Which Premium plans are there?
| Plan | How you pay | Renews |
|---|---|---|
| Quarterly | Every three months | Yes, until you cancel |
| Yearly | Every year | Yes, until you cancel |
| Lifetime | One payment | No, it never expires |
Quarterly and Yearly are subscriptions. They renew automatically until you cancel them. Lifetime is a single payment, so there is nothing to cancel.
Where can I see the prices?
Prices depend on where you buy, so we do not list them here. You see the current price before you pay:
- On the pricing page, for purchases on our website.
- In the app on your computer: open the Profile tab and choose "Premium".
- In the app on iPhone, iPad or Android: the App Store or Google Play shows the price in your currency.
Taxes and currency conversion follow the store or the checkout you pay through. The pricing page also shows how much you save with a longer plan.
